For your convenince we have complied a list of questions that have frequently been asked by campers and parents.

Is this a girls-only camp?
Yes. All campers, cousellors, activity supervisers and camp staff will be female. There will be no other camp group on site during our trip.

Is the food Halal?
Yes. We will be providing 3 meals a day with snacks in between and everything served will be halal. If you would like more information please check the Kinkark Outdoor Centre website: www.koc.on.ca/facility/food

What kind of activities will there be?
A full schedule of activites will be release prior to the final payment deadline. Previously we have had:

Where is the camp & how will we get there?
This year the Sisters' Retreat will be at the Kinark Outdoor Centre. MYN will provide transportation to and from the campsite to the designated pick-up and drop-off locations - Al-Falah Islamic Centre & The Islamic Foundation of Toronto. Campers are responsible for arranging transportation from the pick-up locations. Timings for pick ups and drop offs will be released to confirmed campers.

What is your refund policy?
The refund policy is as follows:
100% refund until the payment deadline (date TBA).
50% refund, only for extenuating circumstances, after the payment deadline
NO REFUND offered after August 1, 2015.
How many girls will there be in a cabin?
Cabin assignments depend on how many campers are going. There will always be 5-6 girls in one cabin including a supervising counsellor. You can indicate one friend you wish to share a cabin with in the Registration Form and we will do our best to accomodate your request.

What should I wear to the Retreat?

Can I attend if I am turning 14 this year?
Those who are turning 14 before or on the date of the Retreat may register and attend, those are who turning 14 after the first day of camp will have to wait until the following year. The age restrictions are in place based on the activities and discussions we will cover during the Retreat. ID will be required to confirm age.

Can I register for Early Bird but pay after the deadline?
No. In order to take advantage of the Early Bird price you must register and pay before the Early Bird ends. If you register before the deadline but do not pay (and vice versa) you will be charged the reguler price.
